ADGP visits Armed Police Complex Zewan | KNO

 Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K Shri L.T Mohanti visited Armed Police Complex Zewan where a contingent of JKAP 9th Bn and JKAP 12th Bn presented guard of honour to the visiting officer.

The Additional Director General of Police Shri L.T Mohanti inspected the residential barracks of both male and female police personnel. The ADGP emphasised upon providing of best accommodation, sanitary facilities, nutritious and hygienic food to jawans.

Later on ADGP Armed held a darbar with the officers and jawans of JKAP 9th Bn and JKAP 12th Bn including the ladies contingent of Kashmir based Battalions. In the beginning of darbar, Commandant JKAP 9thBn Shri Shalinder Singh welcomed ADGP and briefed him in detail about various achievements made by JKAP 9th Bn on various fronts.  The officers and jawans put forward various grievances and reports in front of the ADGP.

In his address ADGP Shri Mohanti appreciated the officers and jawans for performing difficult duties with dedication on law and order front and said that Armed police is always in the forefront while performing all the duties which are given to them from time to time. He appreciated the role of Armed Police in helping in  maintainable  of peace in valley.  Shri Mohanti also appreciated the recently promoted NGO’s and other officials.

The ADGP further emphasized upon jawans to perform their duties with great zeal, zest and high commitment. He also emphasised that welfare of jawans should given high priority.

The darbar was attended among others by CO JKAP 12th Bn Shri Bakir Samoon, DyCO JKAP 9thBn Shri Hamidulah Sheikh, DyCO JKAP 12thBn Shri Muneer Ahmad and other officers of the battalions.
